On behalf of the phenomenal women of our illustrious chapter, I graciously welcome you to our online home. For nearly 35 years, Zeta Tau Sigma has humbly served Prince George’s County, MD. Chartered on Saturday, March 26, 1983 in Mt. Rainier, MD, the chapter is committed to enhancing the lives of Prince George’s County residents. We are “Fresh and Focused” under the leadership of 24th International Grand Basileus, Deborah Catchings-Smith.
Our chapter is comprised of diverse women, from many backgrounds, with a wide spectrum of professional experiences including educators, social workers, attorneys, not-for-profit executives, accountants and many more. None of what I do in my position would be possible without the love, support, and dedication of these amazing ladies.
Zeta Tau Sigma strives to remain “Roses in Bloom” as we extend our reach in the community this year. Programs such as Operation Big Book Bag, Project Reassurance, mentorship initiatives with local schools, support of local shelters, and our annual Sigma Youth Symposium seek to promote the Sorority’s commitment to scholarship and service. The chapter loves our sisterhood, and we love to serve.
It is our sincere hope that you will join us in our service efforts, attend one of our many social functions, or drop us a line to let us know you visited our site. Click “Contact Us” above for more information, and please visit the “Upcoming Events” link to find out what is coming your way.
We very much look forward to this year, and hope to see you soon!
With Warm Regards,
Tonya A. Childers
